They work to help local residents express their concerns and opposition to the ACP through writing letters to their representatives, to newspapers, and to the organizations, businesses, and governing bodies that are involved in the pipeline approval and construction process. 


The Augusta County Allianceis dedicated to preserving our rural landscape and economy, our clean air and water, and our abundant wildlife habitat and historic resources. We believe engaged citizens and landowners can make a compelling case that a huge 42-inch gas transmission line should not tear through Augusta County.


The Allegheny Blue-Ridge Alliance is a coalition of organizations concerned about the natural gas pipeline that Dominion Resources and its partner companies have proposed to build through portions of West Virginia and Virginia. The ABRA is dedicated to protecting the heritage, resources, and economy of the Allegheny-Blue Ridge Region.
